Change the object ID

1. Open the File menu and select Configure object file.
2. Click the Change object ID button.
3. Enter the new object ID, and click OK.

Note 1: Changing an object ID is not something you would normally do very often. The ID is generally supposed to remain constant in all documentation and in the entire computing environment.

Note 2: If you open a file from your workspace, change the ID, and then save the file back to the workspace, you will end up with two separate files in your workspace – one with the new ID and one with the old. Feel free to delete the old file when you are happy with your changes.
